A video is doing the rounds on various social media platforms which captures a public brawl between a grown man and a group of young girls inside a mall.

The shaky viral video, filmed by one of the howling girls, begins with a loud verbal altercation. Voices clash, insults fly, and the man appears visibly agitated as the group circles around him. Suddenly, he shoves one of the girls to the side. The tension spikes when the girl steps forward, confronting him head-on.
Without warning, the man swings his arm and lands a thunderous punch squarely on the girl’s face. The impact is devastating — the child drops instantly, collapsing to the ground.
For a brief moment, the crowd gasps in disbelief. But instead of rushing to help their fallen friend, the other girls erupt in panic, shrieking “Oh my god!” before scattering from the scene in terror.
The incident happened in 2019 at Asheville Mall, North Carolina. The man was identified as 51-year-old David Steven Bell, who was arrested and charged with assault on a child under 12 and assault on a female. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to probation and ordered to complete a racial justice workshop.
