Keonjhar: A married woman allegedly chopped off a youth’s genital at Harichandanpur in Keonjhar district Wednesday night.
The victim, identified as Rajendra Nayak of Jharabeda village of Ghatagaon, sustained critical injuries and was initially admitted to Harichandanpur hospital and later shifted to the district hospital.
Rajendra, who was working in Chennai, returned to the state and stayed at the woman’s house in Harichandanpur in the night.
The woman, whom Rajendra claims to be his friend, allegedly forced him to consume liquor. When he became unconscious, she chopped off his private part, Rajendra alleged.
“We used to talk over phone. I had earlier rebuked her for talking to others over phone. This could be the reason why she attacked me,” Rajendra said.
