Mumbai: Indian opener Mayank Agarwal made history on the second day of the first Test being played in Visakhapatnam between India vs South Africa. This was Mayank’s first century, which he later converted into a double century and got out for 215 runs in this innings.
Apart from professional life, Karnataka opening batsman Mayank’s love life is quite interesting. Actually both Mayank and his wife Ashita were good friends. Gradually the friendship turned into love and Mayank proposed Ashita in London.

Mayank’s test debut was a great one. Mayank had scored 76 runs in the first innings. With this, Mayank had even left Indian batting greats like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni behind when it comes to highest score on debuts.
