Bhawanipatna: A minor argument between two brothers during a meal turned fatal in Balarampur village under Bhawanipatna Sadar police limits in Kalahandi district Thursday afternoon.
According to reports, 32-year-old Dharamu Sabar allegedly attacked his elder brother, 35-year-old Kulamani Sabar, with an axe following an argument. Kulamani sustained serious injuries and later succumbed to his injuries.
On receiving information, police reached the spot and recovered the body. The accused was detained and taken to the police station for questioning.
A case has been registered at Bhawanipatna Sadar police station under Case No. 345/2026. Police said the accused would be forwarded to court Friday.
Further investigation is underway.
