The #MeToo India began when Bollywood actress and model Tanushree Dutta openly called out veteran actor Nana Patekar for inappropriately behaving with her on the sets of Horn OK Please; that has given voice to many others.
It was followed by a string of other actresses and victims sharing their ordeal. Some big names of the fraternity including Alok Nath, Subhash Ghai and Sajid Khan face rape charges.

Aditya Pancholi:
Pancholi has been accused of sexually abuse by his former girlfriend Kangana Ranaut. Kangana alleges Aditya was very violent, during her struggle days. He has also been accused of raping his ex-girlfriend Pooja Bedi’s 15-year-old maid, however, Pancholi denies all allegations.
Rajesh Khanna:
The late veteran actor was accused of molesting his live-in partner Anita Advani, when she was still a minor.
Vikas Bahl:
Recalling an incident that was first reported in 2017, Vikas has been accused of sexually assaulting a female employee at Phantom Films. The company did not take any stand for months, however, they announced its dissolution last week.
Om Puri:
The late actor has been accused of domestic violence and making sexual advances towards his house maid by none other than his wife, Nandita Puri!
Shiney Ahuja:
The much talked about rape case of Bollywood. Shiney was accused of rape by his domestic help in 2009. However, thanks to power or what you may call, all the chargers were later revoked and Shiney was released on bail.

Yes, the melodious playback singer was arrested ni 2014 for raping his girlfriend. The Mumbai Sessions Court, however, acquitted him of all charges.
Madhur Bhandarkar:
Known for making realistic movies, Madhur was accused of rape by a model. She alleged that Madhur promised her to cast her in his next upcoming movie. Later, she decided not to pursue the case and was arrested for hiring a contract killer to murder Bhandarkar.
