Deogarh: At least 12 persons, including women and children were critically injured after the mini truck they were traveling in skidded off Gailo ghat in this district Monday.
All the injured were admitted at a nearby hospital.
According to reports, a group of people from Gailo village were going to Deogarh in the mini truck Monday morning. When the vehicle was crossing the ghat, the driver lost control over the wheels.
The fire brigade officials reached the spot and rescued all passengers.
It may be noted that 27 artistes of a Jatra party, Bharati Gananatya, were killed in a road accident at the same spot April 27, 2016 after the bus carrying 38 artistes fell into a 300-ft gorge.
