Daringbadi: In another instance of sexual abuse of minor girls in Daringbadi area, a minor girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped for three months by a youth of the same locality according to reports available.
The matter came to the light after the victim’s family members lodged a complaint in this connection. Acting on the complaint, police registered a case and rescued the victim and arrested the accused Issac Pradhan. Incidentally, the accused, native of Pangaraha village under Daringbadi tehsil is already married and is the father of a child.
According to sources, the accused abducted the minor girl while she was returning from college in November 2018. The accused had kept the girl hidden in an isolated place in Baliguda area of the district and allegedly raped her for three months, informed sources.
