Cuttack: Actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty was allegedly abused by some miscreants at Nandi Sahi in Cuttack, Sunday night.
The parliamentarian has alleged in a series of tweets that one Manjeet Das and some of his accomplices were creating ruckus in the locality and it was when he intervened that they started hurling abuses at him.
Mohanty has also alleged in his Twitter handle that the Purighat police station’s Inspector in Charge also misbehaved with him.

In the video posted by the Kendrapara MP, a youth is seen saying, “I was beaten up by Manjeet Das and his accomplices. They even hurled slangs at Anubhav Mohanty when he intervened.”

The victim’s father alleged that the police misbehaved with the actor when he urged them to check whether Manjeet was in an inebriated condition or not.
