Bhubaneswar: The Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has directed that ‘Mo Bus’ service will be unavailable from 2PM, Saturday, as the timings of the busses have been revised for the festive season.
With the Commissionerate Police issuing new traffic guidelines during Durga Puja, the busses will not ply on any route after 2PM from October 5 to 9. However, busses will remain functional from 6AM to 2PM .
“Owing to traffic restriction guidelines issued by @cpbbsrctc during #DurgaPuja festivity, from October 5 to 9, #Mobus🚌 won’t ply on any route after 2:00 pm. However, buses will be available in its usual frequency between 6:00 am-2:00 pm. We regret the inconvenience,” the CRUT posted on Twitter.
The CRUT formed under Housing and Urban Development Department of the Government of Odisha operates a fleet of 310 buses to and from the capital. The ‘Mo Bus’ service was inaugurated by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in November, 2018.
