Mukesh Ambani to visit Srimandir Monday

Puri: Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and his son Anant Ambani, scheduled to attend the Make in Odisha conclave at Bhubaneswar, would visit Srimandir November 12 (Monday).

This would be Mukesh Ambani’s maiden visit to the Srimandir, said his family priest Raghunath Gochhikar. “Mukesh Ambani’s younger brother Anil had visited Srimandir for the first time July 21, 2006 and once again August 30, 2009. Their father Dhirubhai Ambani had visited the shrine in 1959,” Gochhikar said.

The priest, meanwhile, sought permission from the district administration and the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) to escort Mukesh into the 12th century shrine.

According to sources, Mukesh would reach the city by helicopter while Anant would come on road. Mukesh’s chopper will land at Talabania helipad, they added.

“Mukesh may seek Lord Jagannath’s blessings for the wedding ceremony of his daughter. He is likely to offer puja at Srimandir and present an invitation card for the wedding ceremony to the Lord,” said a source.
