Popular comedian Jyoti Prakash Tripathy, who has around 30 films, 6 mega soaps and 250 albums to his credit, loves to spend Sundays with his kids. “Though I may not have a holiday every Sunday, I make sure to spend as much time as possible with my kids —Anwesha and Akrsh,” the actor says.
Donning the chef’s apron
Did you know Jyoti, who rules the screen with his disarming smile, can also floor you with his culinary skills? “I love to cook breakfast for my family. Be it idli, dosa or sandwich, I prepare every dish with utmost care for my family members. They just love it,” he says.
Loving Dad
Sundays sans playing carom or video games with kids sounds boring for the actor. He feels that spending quality time with children on Sundays is important. “I feel Sundays matter to kids as their schools are closed on that day. But they don’t care much whether it’s a Sunday or any other day as long as they are having fun,” he says.
Movie Buff
The actor is a movie maniac. “Watching 3-4 movies back to back on Saturday night is a must for me. That’s why I wake up a little late on Sundays. Watching movies does not end there. Whenever I get time on holidays, I make it a point to watch new releases,” says Jyoti.
