My Sunday of Oriya actor Chinmay Mishra

Rashmi Rekha Das

Chinmay Mishra, the ace villain of Oriya television, is an omnivorous reader. He spends hours reading on Sundays. “I make it a point to read my favourite authors, especially Paulo Coelho on a sunny Sunday morning. That makes my day special,” he says.

The chef

Chinmay, who has many mega soaps like ‘To Aganara Tulasi Mu’ to his credit, is gearing up for the release of his first Hindi movie. He loves to cook and treat guests to lip-smacking fare. “One Sundays, I rustle up chicken dishes for my younger brother who stays with me in the state capital,” he says.

With pals

“On Sundays, I take my pals to our secret hangout place on the Vani Vihar campus where we indulge in lots of engaging activities. After all, we need some refreshment after days of hectic work,” says Chinmay.

Not a gym rat

The actor is not a fitness freak. “Possessing six-pack abs is not the ultimate goal of many people who want to stay fit. I exercise at home to stay fit and fine,” quips the actor.
