Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Tuesday launched the third phase of the High School Transformation Programme through virtual mode, as part of 5T initiative.
A total of 2151 transformed high schools will be inaugurated in the third phase. On the first day of this phase, the Chief Minister inaugurated 357 transformed high schools in four districts Tuesday.
It includes 106 high schools of Ganjam district, 87 high schools in Angul, 57 schools in Keonjhar and 107 schools in Jagatsinghpur district. It is worth noting that 3981 high schools have been transformed in the state in the last two phases.
After the completion of the third phases, the total number of transformed schools will reach 6132. Addressing the students through video conferencing, the Chief Minister said that the success of the students is the success of Odisha.
Efforts have been made to provide all modern facilities to the children in 5T schools. He said that the children could take this opportunity to showcase their talent and to bring glory to themselves and their families as well for the entire Odisha.
Congratulating the students attending these schools, Patnaik said that if children use 5T in their lives, they can be successful in all areas of life. Stating that it is the age of technology, he advised children to try to learn new technologies.
The second thing is teamwork. If children work together, the chances of success increase. Teamwork is very important in the field of sports. Similarly, transparency is an essential requirement in life. Honesty increases a person’s credibility.
Everyone knows the importance of time. So, if all the time is used properly, children will remain ahead in all spheres and it will bring transformation in their lives, the CM stated.
On this occasion, students from different schools narrated their experiences about the 5T transformation. During the program, the Chief Minister interacted with the children and asked them what they wanted to be in future, to which they replied that they would become administrative officers, doctors and engineers.
