Karanjia: Biju Janata Dal supremo Naveen Patnaik today claimed that there has been a conspiracy to render his flagship KALIA scheme futile.
Addressing a public meeting at Panasdiha field of Thakurmunda panchayat in Karanjia Assembly constituency, Patnaik Wednesday said “even though KALIA scheme has potential to uplift as many as 40 lakh farmers, there has been a conspiracy to put this scheme in deep freeze. However, I won’t let this happen so long as I am alive. Nobody can stop it.”
Interestingly, Naveen stopped short of naming the conspirator even though his target was obvious.
This apart, he took the audience through the welfare schemes of his government and urged the audience to vote for his candidates in the upcoming polls.
While Basanti Hembram contests for this Assembly seat, Chandrani Murmu contests for Keonjhar Lok Sabha seat of which Karanjia is a part.
