Bhubaneswar: Newly appointed Odisha Governor Braj Mohan Ram is scheduled to arrive in Bhubaneswar at 12:30 pm Saturday, a day before he is set to take oath as the state’s Governor.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with senior administrative officials, will receive Ram at the airport.
Arrangements for his arrival have been completed, with preparations also underway for the swearing-in ceremony at Raj Bhavan Sunday. The oath-taking will formally mark the beginning of Ram’s tenure as Odisha governor.
President Droupadi Murmu appointed Ram as Odisha governor October 12, replacing Hari Babu Kambhampati. His appointment was part of a broader reshuffle involving governors and lieutenant governors in six states.
