Bhubaneswar: Popular Odia actor Sritam Das has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor took to his verified Twitter account to disclose this information. He also requested all those who had come in contact with him and his wife in the last seven days to undergo home quarantine and get COVID-19 tests done.
Das went for a swab test after developing mild COVID-19 symptoms. The result came out positive Tuesday. His condition is stable now and he is under home isolation as advised by doctors.
Earlier, veteran actor Ajit Das, script writer and lyricist Rajani Ranjan Das and comedian Guddu tested positive for deadly disease September 1 and August 27 respectively.
Unfortunately, Ajit Das succumbed to COVID-19 while undergoing treatment at a COVID-119 hospital here.
On the other hand, Rajani and his wife are in home isolation for 14 days while Guddu is presently undergoing treatment at a private hospital here.
