Bhubaneswar: Odisha government Saturday renamed the ‘Biju Setu Yojana‘ as the ‘Setu Bandhan Yojana’ and approved its continuation for another five years from 2026-27 to 2030-31.
The Rural Development Department issued a formal notification today announcing both the name change and the extension of the rural bridge construction programme.
The scheme, originally launched in 2011-12, aims to improve connectivity in rural areas by constructing bridges at different locations across Odisha.
