Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cricket Association Wednesday announced a 16-member U-19 men’s squad for the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, part of the BCCI Domestic Season 2026-27.
The squad was announced at a press meet attended by Odisha Junior Men’s Selection Committee chairperson Sourajit Mohapatra and assistant coach Rakesh Mohanty.
Panakala Mokshit has been named captain and will also take charge behind the stumps, with Vedant V Devade the other wicketkeeper in the squad.
The batting department includes right-hand openers Subham Pallai and Mayank Pattnayak, along with left-hand opener Prayan Prantik Samal and left-hand batter Subhasis Mallick.
Aditya Anand is the other specialist batter, while Jogeswar Bag and Rudra Prasad Mallick have been picked as all-rounders.
The pace attack comprises Kamalesh Patra, Seikh Hayat, Abhineet Pattnaik, Tirthankar Sahoo and Sairaj Sahoo.
Raaz Yadav and SK Naqib Sarber are the two left-arm spinners in the squad.

Odisha have been placed in Elite-B of the Vinoo Mankad Trophy and will begin their campaign against Punjab October 8 in Pondicherry.
The team will then face Uttar Pradesh October 10, followed by matches against Haryana October 12, Bihar October 14 and Chhattisgarh October 16.
All fi ve league matches are scheduled to be played in Pondicherry.
The Vinoo Mankad Trophy is part of the BCCI domestic season for 2026-27, with Odisha set to test its young players against teams from across the country.
