Puri: The final electoral roll for Puri district under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 was published Monday, with 13,11,876 voters listed across six Assembly constituencies and 1,823 polling booths.
District Collector and District Election Officer Dibyajyoti Parida published the final roll at a meeting attended by Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and representatives of various political parties at the Circuit House conference hall.
The final list was prepared after verification and revision of electoral records, including the inclusion of eligible Indian citizens and scrutiny of ineligible, deceased, shifted and duplicate voters, officials said.
Parida said the final electoral roll was published after completion of the claims, objections and hearing process under SIR 2026.
The district had 13,02,768 voters in the previous electoral roll. The latest list comprises 6,81,133 male voters, 6,30,668 female voters and 75 voters in the other category.
The constituency-wise voter count is:
- Kakatpur: 2,26,749
- Nimapada: 2,27,313
- Puri: 2,25,808
- Brahmagiri: 2,13,254
- Satyabadi: 1,95,138
- Pipili: 2,23,614
The final roll includes 10,191 voters aged 18-19, while 14,051 voters are aged 80 and above. The number of voters with disabilities stands at 16,672, according to the official.
The official further stated that the final electoral roll is available at the concerned booth-level ERO and Assistant Electoral Registration Officer offices as well as the district election office. Voters can also check their names through the official websites of the Election Commission of India and the Chief Electoral Officer, Odisha.
Parida urged voters to verify their names, addresses and other details in the final electoral roll.
