Kantamal: The Odisha government Saturday suspended Kantamal Block Development Officer (BDO) Sami Reddy Jayshree with immediate effect and ordered a departmental disciplinary inquiry against her.
The Revenue and Disaster Management Department took the action, directing her to remain at the office of the Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) in Sambalpur during the suspension period.
She has also been barred from leaving her designated headquarters without prior permission from the competent authority.
