Bhubaneswar: In a road accident on NH-16 at Haridamula under Khallikote police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district, two individuals lost their lives, and three others sustained critical injuries.
According to a source, the accident took place when a truck, transporting edible oil from Andhra Pradesh to West Bengal, skidded off the road, overturned, and collided with a motorcycle and a car Sunday night.
The deceased included the woman and the truck driver. The injured included the brother and son of the woman and the helper of the truck.
Following the mishap, the injured persons were taken to Khalikote Community Health Centre (CHC) and later shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur due to the deterioration of their conditions.
