Koraput: Some unidentified miscreants fired at Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) passenger bus near Boipariguda Police station in Koraput district, a source said Friday.
The source further said that the bus was on its way from Balimela to Berhampur when the miscreants fired at the bus at a place around 100 metres away from Boipariguda Police Station.
None of the passengers were harmed in the incident. An FIR was lodged and the bus was detained by the police following the incident.
Police took the incident seriously and inquired into the incident as the area was Maoist-dominated area.
