Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty surface winds, with speeds reaching 30-40 kmph, are very likely at one or two places in eight districts of Odisha, Regional Centre of India Meteorological Department said Thursday.
The affected districts are Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Kataka, Kendujhar and Mayurbhanj, the weather office added.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are also likely at one or two places in these districts, while dry weather is expected to prevail across the rest of the state.
