Bhubaneswar/Mumbai: Handloom and handicraft products made by women entrepreneurs from Odisha were showcased at the ‘Subhadra Shakti Pop-up Bazaar’ organised by the state’s Mission Shakti Department at FICCI FRAMES 2026 in Mumbai, an official release said.
The two-day pop-up bazaar, held September 29 and 30, provided a national platform for products crafted by women entrepreneurs associated with Odisha’s Mission Shakti initiative. FICCI FRAMES, one of the country’s major platforms for the media and entertainment industry, provided a high-profile setting for showcasing the skills, creativity and traditional craftsmanship of women entrepreneurs from the state.
Official sources said several prominent personalities from the film and entertainment industry, including Bollywood actor Ravi Kishan, Prajakta Koli, Amol Parashar, Rasika Dugal and renowned chef Ranveer Brar, visited the ‘Subhadra Shakti Pop-up Store’. They were presented ‘Subhadra Shakti’ gift hampers featuring a variety of products made by women entrepreneurs of Odisha.
The initiative helped bring handmade products crafted by women entrepreneurs of the state to the attention of a wider market and highlighted the diversity of Odisha’s traditional handicrafts and handloom products.
The ‘Subhadra Shakti Pop-up Bazaar’ is also aimed at creating stronger market linkages for women-led enterprises by connecting their products with national and international markets and opening up new avenues for business and entrepreneurship.
The initiative reflects the state government’s efforts to promote women-led enterprises and provide women entrepreneurs with platforms to expand the reach and market potential of their products.
