Omfed’s Rs 1,300cr turnover target

Bhubaneswar: The 29th General Council Meeting of Omfed, held here Wednesday, set a turnover target of Rs 1,300 crore for the 2026-27 financial year. The meeting was chaired by Omfed president Kishore Chandra Pradhani and was attended by Omfed Managing Director Vijay Amruta Kulange along with members of the general council from different parts of the state. The meeting reviewed the decisions taken at the 28th General Council Meeting, their implementation status and the audited accounts of the federation for various financial years.

The council also reviewed Omfed’s business performance and expressed satisfaction over its growth during the last two years. “A turnover target of Rs 1,300 crore has been set for the financial year 2026-27. To achieve the target, emphasis was laid on strengthening and expanding milk procurement and marketing systems, increasing milk collection and widening the market reach of Omfed’s milk and milk products,” an official said.

The meeting also stressed the importance of maintaining product quality and improving marketing and distribution systems in line with consumer demand. At the same time, priority was given to ensuring that the benefits of Omfed’s business growth reach dairy farmers and contribute to their continued economic development
