Tihidi: One person was killed and another injured in a road accident involving a dumper and a pickup van at Kamaria bazaar on Bhadrak-Chandbali road Monday night.
The deceased was Alok Jena (24) of Oha Sahi under Dhamnagar police limits. Jena was driving the dumper.
Police said the accident occurred at about 1am. The driver of the pickup van was rushed to S C B Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack.
The injured driver’s identity was yet to be ascertained.
