Cuttack, Dec 11: Orissa Police and Sunrise Club registered convincing victories against their respective opponents in matches of the FAO First Division Super League at the Barabati Stadium here Friday.
Riding on a hat-trick by Sankarsan Tudu, Orissa Police triumphed over Radha Gobinda Club 5-2 in the first match. Sankarsan scored in the 55th, 57th and 82nd minutes in the second half. Earlier Md Ehsan Khan (10th) and Rabi Mundari (35th) found the back of the net in the first half. Bose Murmu and Amar Lakra struck for Radha Gobinda in the 31st and 73rd minutes respectively.
In the second match, Sunrise Club scraped past Chand Club 4-2. Ambika Lakra scored twice while the other goals came from Bharat Munda (21st) and Soosai Raj (56th). Foreign recruits Amous Nathaniel (56th) and O Abbey (69th) hit the target for Chand Club.
Saturday’s matches: Rising Star Club vs Bidanasi Club (1.00pm), Sports Hostel vs Independent Club (3.00pm)

Club N Club edged out Rovers Club 2-1 in a match of the FAO IInd Division Football League at the Barabati Stadium here Friday. Anil Samal and Akash Das scored for the winners while Dasarathi Kanhar got one back for Rovers Club.
