Joda, March 16: Nandakishore Behera (30), an engineer of Deojhar-based Jindal Steel and Power Limited in Keonjhar district and a resident of Panchananpur under Joda police limits, died under mysterious circumstances in Andhra Pradesh while he was on a pilgrimage along with relatives. Family sources said Behera left Bhubaneswar railway station along with his wife, in-laws and other relatives March 1, on his way to Kanyakumari. He suddenly went missing at Nelur railway station in Andhra Pradesh.
The worried relatives lodged a missing complaint with Nelur police and came back home cancelling the trip.
Police, however, recovered his body from near Nelur railway station March 11 and informed his family. The family went to Andhra Pradesh and performed his last rites. The reason behind the death is
yet to be ascertained, while the police are investigating the matter.
