OUAT students excel in NET 2017

Bhubaneswar: The students of Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology have excelled in the National Eligibility Test (NET) 2017, conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.
As many as 144 students have qualified in the examination which has elevated the rank of the University to nineth position among 75 agricultural universities across the country.
The students who qualified in the test will be eligible to seek employment in teaching departments, research and extension system of agricultural universities of the country.
Due to this rare achievement, Orissa has acquired seventh position at the national level. OUAT Vice Chancellor Surendrananth Pasupalak has congratulated the students, staff and faculty of the University for this achievent.
The first rank has gone to Karnataka while Uttar Pradesh got the second rank. The third rank was bagged by Tamil Nadu.
