Pampeta delivers 6th baby at NZP

Barang: The oldest chimpanzee at Nadankanan Zoological Park (NZP), Pampeta, delivered her sixth baby, at the feeding chamber of enclosure number 60 here Friday night. The condition of the newborn is normal. Reports said a team of veterinary doctors who were monitoring Pampeta had assumed that she would deliver October 2. However, Pampeta surprised the vets by delivering the baby before the expected date. PNN
