Nayagarh: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing Nayagarh minor girl Pari’s murder case picked up three more persons in this connection, from Jadupur village in the district Wednesday afternoon.

According to a source, the three persons were interrogated at an undisclosed location by the SIT team.
Special POCSO court in the district asserted a day before that the main accused arrested in this connection is a minor. The court has also rejected SIT’s petition for a narco-analysis test on him.
Appeal for narco-analysis test has been sent again to the Juvenile Justice Board and the hearing is scheduled for January 8.
Notably, the SIT chief Arun Bothra had earlier claimed that the accused was addicted to watching pornography. The victim had reportedly visited his house to eat blackberry when he raped her July 14. When the girl resisted, he strangled her to death.
