Bolangir: Asuthosh Patra of Mayurbhanj district Monday became the first student to get enrolled into the newly-opened Bolangir Medical College and Hospital.
He was followed by Aakanksha Singh of Chhattisgarh.
Their admissions hold significance as they are the first and second students respectively to get admission in Bolangir Medical College.
The institution received Medical Council of India’s approval earlier this month to enroll students.
The Health and Family Welfare Department of Odisha congratulated Ashutosh and Aakanksha Monday.
