Plus II girl found hanging

Khurda: A Plus II girl student of Prananath Autonomous College here was found hanging in a private hostel room Wednesday. According to sources, some employees of the hostel broke open the door after noticing that there was no activity inside the room. Later, they found the girl hanging from the ceiling fan with a dupatta. On being informed, police along with a scientific team reached the spot and started investigation. The body was seized and sent for autopsy. Though the exact reason for the act is not yet known, police suspected it to be a case of suicide. However, no suicide note was recovered from the spot.
