Plus II girl hangs self in Jajpur

Jajpur: A 16-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide at Panikoili village in Jajpur district Monday night.

According to sources, the minor girl, a Plus II student went to sleep after having dinner last night. When her family members went to wake her up, they found her hanging from the ceiling of the house and rushed her to the district headquarters hospital. The doctors declared her ‘brought dead’.

The reason behind her extreme step is yet to be ascertained.

On receipt of information, police reached the spot, seized the body and started investigation into the incident.
