PMA enter semifinals

Cuttack, April 16: Pyari Mohan Academy (PMA) scripted a convincing 23 runs victory over Ravenshaw Collegiate School (RCS) to make it to the semifinals of the PV Murthy Inter-School cricket tournament at the Bhuvanananda Engineering Ground here Thursday.

Put into bat first, PMA were all out for 100 in 23.3 overs with contributions from Y Sunil (30) and Trinath Mohapatra (19). Subash Nayak (5/19) bowled well for Ravenshaw. In reply, RCS were bundled out for 77 in 23.4 overs with Subhasis Moharana (3/10) and Sabir Hussain (2/11) doing the damage. Subhasis was adjudged the man of the match for his spell.
