Bhubaneswar: DGP R P Sharma Thursday informed the media that the Odisha Police is mulling to constitute a social media monitoring cell soon. The cell will keep tabs on activities on the social media in order to rein in the rising incidents of cyber crime. The police will also keep a close watch on the rumour mongers on social media platforms. He also said that the cell will be manned with officers having expertise on IT or cyber-related issues.
