Bhubaneswar, June 16: ‘Fashion at Big Bazaar’ (FBB) , the fashion unit of retail chain Big Bazaar, organised the final round of their fashion event ‘Ruposhree Rajo’ in the Capital Thursday. Pooja Mishra was named winner of the beauty pageant.
Adyasha Satpathy, Chief Executive of Orissa POST and Dharitri, Sushruti Krishna, first runner-up of Femina Miss India 2016, and Pankhuri Gidwani, second runner-up of Femina Miss India 2016, were judges at the beauty pageant.
The final round of the competition included four different segments. The first segment featured models walking the ramp in ethnic wear, the second was for formal wear, followed by sportswear. Contestants sported western wear in the fourth segment, which led to a question-answer session.
Entries for the contest opened June 1 and concluded June 12.
The organisers received 5,000 entries for the contest, from which they selected 18 contestants for the finals.
Adyasha Satpathy crowned the winner Pooja at a gala ceremony. Bhoomika Dash, the first runner-up of Ruposhree Rajo was was crowned by Sushruti; Mrunalinee Senapati, the second runner-up was crowned by Pankhuri Gidwani. The first and second runner-up of the contest have also received cash prize of `5,000 each. Ruposhree Rajo is an annual event conducted by FBB.
