Pradhan flays govt over poor healthcare in Telkoi

Telkoi: Union petroleum, oil and natural gas minister Dharmendra Pradhan took a dig at the state government, saying all the sectors like rural connectivity, healthcare and drinking water have been in a shambles across the state.

He was addressing a rally of party workers at Telkoi of Keonjhar as part of BJP’s ‘Jabab Maguchhi Odisha’ programme Wednesday.

He noted that the state government had been implementing a plethora of schemes, but they fail to reach to the people in remote areas like Telkoi.

The Union minister stated that all panchayats of Telkoi will have irrigation if the dam being constructed at Chakradhar had been set up at Hatimunda.

Thousands of workers welcomed Pradhan at the College Padia.

He was accompanied by BJP’s district unit president Radhkant Mohant, state executive member Dhanurjay Sidhhu, general secretary of state BJP Ananta nayak, women leader Sukeshi Oram, farmer leader Maheswar Sahu, Pramod Sahu, Manas Nayak in the rally.
