Puri: The 63rd Sri Vidya Koti Kumkumarchan Mahayajna began Thursday at Mahamilan Math on Sankaracharya Marg here, with prayers offered to Maa Lalita and Lord Jagannath for India to establish itself as Vishwaguru by 2047. Senior seer Swami Abhishek Brahmachari inaugurated the Mahayajna. Learned Brahmins from Kashi performed the rituals according to Vedic traditions in the presence of Vedic students, Suhasini mothers and devotees. The ceremony began with the use of turmeric and kumkum, followed by the recitation of the Sri Lalita Sahasranama mantra. Swami Abhishek Brahmachari said Mahayajnas dedicated to Maa Lalita would be organised in every district of the country, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Sanatan Dharma is the foundation of the world and ensures respect for everyone, he said. He said prayers had been offered to Maa Lalita and Lord Jagannath for India to establish itself as Vishwaguru before 2047.
India’s strength at global level has multiplied since 2014, he said, urging youths and students to unite and contribute through voluntary service beyond their personal lives for the country’s prosperity. Everyone should work with the feeling that the nation comes first, Brahmachari said. He described Odisha as the land of Lord Jagannath and said he was delighted to visit the state. He announced that Sri Vidya Koti Kumkumarchan Mahayajnas would be organised in every district of Odisha.
He also urged the saint community to travel to Tamil Nadu and Kerala and launch campaigns for Sanatan Dharma in villages. Merely consuming food should not be the goal of life, he said, adding that every citizen should follow the path shown by Maryada Purushottam Ramachandra and work toward establishing Ram Rajya in the country. Brahmachari said the vision of Ram Rajya has been taking shape in the country since 2014. He urged everyone to support the government in eradicating poverty and said the affluent sections of society should come forward to help deprived people for public welfare. Dr Shobhan Bhattacharya, Yuva Chetna national coordinator Rohit Kumar Singh, Sandeep Pandey, Ajay Pandey, Devansh Shukla, Shramik Pradhan, Rajendra Mohanty, Arjun Odam, Rahul Gautam, Shivpal Yadav, Mukesh Ya dav, Aditya Choubey, Rajendra Tripathi and Sanjay Pradhan were among those present.
