Keonjhar: A fresh video went viral on social media featuring some inmates of Anandapur Jail fishing outside prison exposed the illegal activities taking place in knowledge of the jail authorities.
The video showed that the many jail inmates were catching fish from a water body outside Anandapur Jail in Keonjhar district.
After the video went viral and the higher authorities took note of it and as a disciplinary measure they immediately transferred the Jailer Jiban Singh Munda to Champua Jail.
Earlier, the Jailer of Anandapur Jail was in controversy for several allegations leveled against him by three warders including a woman warder at the jail.
