Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been in the news for various achievements and mostly in the matters of her acting career. This time however, headlines took a different turn and she came to the lime light after a participant from MTV Roadies surprised everyone by saying he wants to destroy actress Priyanka Chopra.
Neha Dhupia, one of the judges in the show took the time to explain the eventful scenario.
During Pune auditions of MTV Roadies Real Heroes that happened January 19 at Jarande Lawns Pune, a participant named Sarang who moved base from Dehradun to Mumbai; stated on his application that he wants to slay Priyanka Chopra.
When Neha wanted to know why the participant said such a thing, he explained that he used to be a backup dancer, and at that time, he and his entire team had a lot of trouble with Priyanka on the day of a stage performance. PCJ turned up late for practice and hence rehearsals went on for a very long time without a single break. There was also a last minute change in the dance move which further made the situation worse for the team.
Due to which Sarang and his entire team had to work till 6 o’clock in the morning. Sarang added that Mrs Jonas behaved very rudely with the crew and showed undue tantrums.
By listen to this Neha appreciated the contestant’s honesty and sympathised with Sarang’s ill experience and said he had a legitimate reason for the entry in the application.
Notably, Sarang got selected for the culling round now time will bring other interesting revelations on the Roadies journey of 2019.
On the work front, Priyanka will be starring in Shonali Bose’s directorial debut The Sky Is Pink.
