Rameswar face Rising Students in final

Bhubaneswar, March 16: Rameswar Sporting and Rising Students won their respective semifinal matches Monday to set up a date in the summit clash of the All India Hrudananda Memorial cricket tournament at the Nehru Stadium in Bhadrak.
In the first semifinal, Rameswar Sporting, Bhuban-eswar beat South Eastern Railway Sports Association (SERSA), Kharagpur by six wickets. SERSA opted to bat first and were bundled out for a mere 103 runs with Tirthankar Bhandari picking four wickets for the local side.
Rameswar chased down the target with ease in 18.1 overs, losing only four wickets in the process. Biswajit Bhuyan (51) led the run chase with a fine half century.
In the second semifinal, Rising Students beat VSP, Kolkata by 16 runs. Opting to bat first Rising Students were all out for 145 runs. However VSP could only manage 129 runs as Soumendra Das picked up four wickets. Rakesh Patnaik (55), batted well for VSP.
