Baleshwar: A restaurant was completely gutted in a fire triggered by an LPG cylinder explosion in Odisha’s Balasore town Monday, though there were no casualties, police said.
Some vehicles parked near the restaurant were also damaged in the fire, the police said.
Fire officials, who took about an hour to control the inferno, said there were no guests in the restaurant when the fire broke out.
An official said a preliminary investigation indicates the fire originated from an explosion of the LPG cylinder.
