Road Transport Ministry approves 3 six-lane road projects in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has approved three six-lane road projects in Odisha.

This was informed by the Office of the Minister Nitin Gadkari Wednesday afternoon. The road projects approved by the Transport ministry come under Raipur-Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor.

The approved projects in Odisha include Dhanara-Hatibena section worth Rs. 477.76 crore, Hatibena-Badakumari section worth Rs. 791.17 crore and Karki-Kaliagura section worth Rs. 498.51 crore.

Taking to Twitter to inform about the government approval of Odisha road projects, Gadkari’s office wrote, “Union minister Shri @nitin_gadkari  ji approved 3 road projects of 6 Lane in the state of Odisha”. The tweet continued saying, “This includes the Dhanara-Hatibena section worth Rs. 477.76 Cr, Hatibena-Badakumari section worth Rs. 791.17 Cr and Karki-Kaliagura section worth Rs. 498.51 Cr under Raipur-Visakhapatnam Economic corridor.”

Apart from the three projects in Odisha, Gadkari also approved a slew of other highway projects in different states in India.
