Mohabbatein

One of the most romantic movies of all time, Mohabbatein’s dialogues reflects love in all its beauty, vivacity, passion and ardor. One such dialogue is-

“Mohabbat bhi zindagi ki tarah hoti hai, har mod aasaan nahin hota, har mod par khushi nahin milti, par jab hum zindagi ka saath nahin chhorte, to mohabbat ka saath kyon chhorein.”

Devdas

In Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas, Shah Rukh Khan as Devdas, pours his mind out to Chandramukhi, about his undying love for his childhood sweetheart Paro.

“Chandarmukhi is bhare paimane mein aur sharaab dalogi to kya hoga, chalak jayega. Isi tarah Paro ke naam se bhara pada hai paiman-e-devdas bhi…aur bharogi to chalak jayega. Khud toh girega tumhe bhi gira dega zameen pe”.

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

In Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, when Raj (Shah Rukh) tells about his dream girl to Simran (Kajol), he says-

“Mujhe chahiye ek aisi ladki , jisse dekhte hi dil ki har aarzoo, saare khwaab , saare rang zinda ho jaaye, abhi aisa hua nahi, lekin ab lagta hai jaise koi andekha anjaana chehra baadalon mein se pukaar raha hain. Pata nahi ye baadal kab hattenge, aur kab woh pukaarne waali saamne aayegi.”

Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam

In the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, when Nandini (Aishwarya Rai) comes for bidding the final farewell to her paramour Sameer (Salman Khan) to unite with her husband. The bereaved Sameer utters the below dialogue, as he is overwhelmed with the pain of estrangement.

“Agle saat janmo tak tum vanraj ki ho, lekin athve janam me tum meri hogi and that time no vanraj vanraj plz, aur nandu tum mujhe is tarah mat dekho kyunki tumhe mujhse phir se pyaar ho jaega…”

Veer Zaara

Yash Chopra’s Veer Zaara is no less in its poignant pathos. When Veer (Shah Rukh Khan) separates from Zaara (Preity Zinta), he candidly confessed his feelings for her and said,

“Mein nahi janta ke muhabbat kya hai…haan zaara k liye dil se ek dua zaror nikalti hai ki is ke aankhon mein kabhi ansoo na aye, ye hamsesha khush rahay…ab ager ye mohabbat hai to mohabbat he sahi.”

Om Shanti Om

The list can never be complete without mentioning of the famous dialogue from the movie Om Shanti Om. This was uttered by Shah Rukh Khan while extolling his love for a movie star played by Deepika Padukone.

“Itni shidaat se maine tumhe paane ki koshish ki hai, ki har zarre ne mujhe tumse milane ki saazish ki hai.”
