Mumbai: Apart from star couple Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma, former Indian fast bowler Zaheer Khan and his wife-actress Sagarika Ghatge, who is known for her role in the blockbuster film ‘Chak De’, have set major couple goals with their love-struck photos on Instagram.
The two have been happily married and seem to be much in love with each other. They are going strong day by day.
Zaheer and Sagarika met through their mutual friends and began dating soon after. However, the couple went public with their relationship at Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech’s wedding. The couple tied the knot in November 2017 in an elaborate ceremony.
“We are very similar in terms of how we look at life. She takes time to open up to new people, so do I. She has a very simple approach to life and we have similar values. Family is very important to both of us. We love our friends the same way too. These are the things which really attracted me to her. I think when two people are together, it should be a flowing process. That is how the two of us are approaching life together. You don’t always have to plan. Things will happen,” Zaheer Khan said during an interview.
Before his marriage, Zaheer was in a relationship with the Good Boy Bad Boy fame actress Isha Shravani. However, the two called it quits for reasons best known to them. While Isha Shravani has distanced herself from movies, Zaheer is slowly making his place as a commentator.
