Salman crying for Laxmikant will melt your heart

Mumbai: Superstar Salman Khan could not hold his tears during the death anniversary of popular Marathi and Hindi film actor, Laxmikant Berde.

It has been 14 years since his death who died in 2014 at his residence following kidney failure.

The ace comedian had acted with a numerous films with Salman before his death. The two were seen together in Hum Saath Saath Hain, Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Aapke Hain Koun.

The superstar who had gone to attend his death ceremony could not hold his tears and was seen sobbing.

The actor, who brought a smile to the lips of scores of cinegoers with his flair for comedy, had won critical acclaim for his role in Marathi film `Ek Hota Vidushak’, directed by Jabbar Patel.

His popular Marathi fims were `Dhoom Dhadaka’, `Lek Chaalali Sasarla’, `Ashihi Banwa Banawi’, `Thartharat’, `Balache Baap Brahmachari’, `Hamaal De Dhamaal’ and `Majha Chhakula’.

His role as a good-hearted friend of actor Salman Khan, who helps unite hearts in Hindi film `Maine Pyar Kiya’ or as the supportive companion again in the film `Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ endeared him to many. He has also played many memorable roles in Bollywood films, including `Beta’ and `Sajan’.

His play `Turtur’ with his brother Purshotham Berde was also lauded by the audience. He completed over 75 shows of his play `Lavangi Mirchi Kolhapurchi’.
