Bhubaneswar: The Student Academic Management System (SAMS) Portal of the Higher Education (HE) Department has received the prestigious SKOCH Platinum Award 2026 for its contribution to technology-enabled delivery of higher education services in the state.
SAMS is a unified digital platform that facilitates admission and other academic services for students and higher education institutions across the state. The recognition highlights the role of the platform in promoting transparent, efficient and technology-enabled delivery of higher education services.
Congratulating Team SAMS, HE Minister Suryabanshi Suraj said, “This recognition is a matter of pride for Odisha and reflects the collective efforts of our higher education institutions, students, officials and all stakeholders associated with SAMS.
The state government is committed to further strengthening digital systems to make higher education services more accessible, transparent and efficient for students.”
HE Department Commissioner-cum-Secretary Aravind Agrawal congratulated all stakeholders associated with SAMS and appreciated their continued efforts in strengthening technology-enabled services in higher education.
