Bhubaneswar: The state government Tuesday effected a reshuffle among IPS officers, appointing Saravana Vivek M, a 2015-batch IPS officer, as the new Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Bhubaneswar.
According to a notification issued by the Home department, Saravana Vivek M, who was serving as Superintendent of Police Brahmapur, has been transferred and posted as Bhubaneswar DCP.
The notifi cation said 2019-batch IPS offi cer Abhinav Sonkar has been transferred from his current posting as Dhenkanal SP, and appointed SP of Brahmapur.
Similarly, 2021-batch IPS offi cer AB Shilpa, who was serving as Assistant Superintendent of Police at State Police Headquarters, has been posted as Baragada SDPO. The government has also transferred 2022-batch IPS officer Ajinkya B Mane from his post as Additional Superintendent of Police, Paradip, and appointed him Dhenkanal SP.
