Rayagada: Police Sunday night busted a sex racket in Gunupur area in this district and arrested three persons including the mastermind and rescued a sex worker.
Acting on a tip-off, Gunupur Police searched the brothel which was running inside a rented house in Sekhar Nagar area.
Police raided the house and arrested a customer along with a sex worker.
Police also arrested the mastermind Sunil Kumar Reddy and Pratima Dalei.
“The duo was engaging girls in flesh trade in the area after bringing them from neighbouring states. They would be forwarded to court Monday,” said Rabindra Kumar Patra, IIC Gunupur Police Station.
